Yale David, Camp Shalom Director
After 7successful years of running the Sports Camp at Camp Shalom,
Yale David is going on heis second year as overall Camp Shalom
Director. Yale has now been a part of the Jewish Community Centers
of the Greater Palm Beaches Camp Program for over 14 years and
serves as the Ross JCC Sports and Recreation Consultant. His company,
Yale Sports Enterprises, Inc. is contracted by the Ross JCC to
run its sports program with activities for youth and adults including
sports camps, basketball, soccer, hockey, golf, t-ball, football,
and stickball leagues. Before Yale founded Yale Sports Enterprises,
Inc. in 2001, he served as the Recreation Coordinator at the Kaplan
JCC for 3 years as well as the Recreation and Wellness Director
at the Hochman JCC for 3 years. Yale grew up in the Philadelphia
suburbs and has a B.S. in Sports and Recreational Management from
Temple University.
Bari Goldberg, Director of Special Needs, Tikvah
Director / Camp Shalom Asst. Director
Bari graduated from The Florida State University with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Family and Child Sciences. She has been part of a camp
program all of her life, beginning at the age of 5. Her passion
for working with Special Needs children began while in High School
and knew that her ideal career would be working with and helping
people with Special Needs. Bari has been part of the JCC team
since the Special Needs Department opened at the Ross Branch in
2005. This will be Bari’s sixth summer as the Camp Tikvah
Director at the JCC. She is looking forward to another wonderful
summer and having the opportunity to see the children grow and
flourish.
