Camp Shalom Jr. (Preschool)
The magic of Camp Shalom Jr. offers preschool children
a unique and fun-filled summer experience in a safe, loving,
and engaging environment. Our highly qualified staff include
teachers with AA degrees, or higher. A number of staff at
Camp Shalom Jr. in West Palm Beach are graduates of the
Project Zero Summer Institute at Harvard Graduate School
of Education; others are national award recipients in the
field of Jewish education. Staff members are also certified
in First Aid and CPR.
Children will have the opportunity to explore and interact
while building their confidence, competence and self esteem.
Camp Shalom Jr. provides children with a summer full of
developmentally-appropriate activities including Shabbat
celebrations, art, science and nature, music, sports and
creative movements. While having fun, your child will grow
socially, emotionally, and physically.
Our swimming program teaches and promotes watersafety, and
swimming readiness skills as well as the pure joy of swimming.
Our certified WSIs will teach campers to blow bubbles, and
kick, as well as a variety of swimming strokes and many
other important beginning skills that make for confident
swimmers.
